The Mailroom and Switchboard Department is also in charge of issuing physical keys and swipe cards to all the faculty members, staff and lecturers so that they may have access to whichever room on campus that is necessary to their use. Ms. Iris Latu who is the Head Switchboard, does all swipe cards electronically and makes copies for any physical keys for whoever needs it, of course with approval from their department secretary.
Disability students are also able to get keys if they need it. For example, a student can request an elevator key for the Library’s elevator to transport him or her from any floor of the library to whichever one they need to get to.
